Our philosophy is that prevention is better than the cure. We encourage all responsible pet owners to bring their little mates in for regular check-ups, vaccinations, and any other issues they may have, as the sooner we spot a problem, the better the outcome for your pet. 


Regular check-ups allow our team to build a good bond with your pet, which will alleviate some of the stress of going to the vet if they are cared for by a familiar face. 

About Us 

We have a dedicated team led by Dr Michael Bramley, the principal veterinarian and owner of the hospital. The Caringbah Veterinary Hospital began in 1967, and Michael started working here in 1972 as an assistant and then as a vet after graduating. We are locally owned and operated and have been caring for pets' health across Sutherland Shire for over 45 years. Our dedicated team of vets, nurses, and George (our resident feline pet liaison officer/official clinic greeter) are passionate about animal welfare. What We Offer

    Our dog tore her cruciate ligament in January and after much research we decided for her to have surgery through Caringbah Veterinary Hospital. Dr Michael Bramley and Dr Anna Markey performed this and I was so impressed with the expertise and care they provided. Our dog came out walking and her recovery was made much easier with the clear instructions and constant support from the team. She recovered well, the surgery was very successful and she was back to her normal self. Unfortunately she’s just done her other leg (3 months later) and once again recovering from a very successful surgery. Couldn’t thank the team at Caringbah Veterinary surgery more, especially Dr Michael and Dr Anna Markey.

    Having been a client of Michael Bramley for around 40 years, including the good old horse days in the shire... I have to say that his practice & staff have always been first class.

    As a  Registered dog breeder, the support from both Michael and his excellent team is invaluable. Occasionally, Mum and Pups lives can be on the line and I have peace of mind knowing that Michael and his team have the experience to diagnose & deal with emergency situations should they arise. 

    Michael's experience in Surgical Procedures, coupled with the latest technology has seen him perform successful operations which have cured my pets thus giving them long, healthy active lives! 

    With the recent addition of Adrian who is also a brilliant surgeon the practice is the place to go if your pet needs an operation....five stars all round for this amazing team!!
